My sister celebrated her birthday, and she loves bagpipes, and so I decided to hire Piper Jim to surprise her. He met us down by the “Star of India” ship by the water, and when we arrived, he started playing. My sister said, “look there’s someone playing bagpipes, I wonder why he’s here.” When we told her that Piper Jim was there to giver her a private performance, she was blown away.

I was looking for a bagpiper to play at my friend's celebration of life at the local VFW. I heard Jim playing at the beach and loved what I heard, traditional Celtic songs. I had been looking for someone to play for a while but they were all very expensive and only played for a half hour. I struck a bargain with Jim, and let him know time and date..On the day, I reached out to him to let him know that we would need him earlier than agreed on. At my invitation, Piper Jim came to one of our Senior Power meetings to provide the entertainment for our community based organization for Senior citizens. Dressed in traditional costume and playing the sweet and familiar tunes on his bagpipes he was a big hit! He even took requests.
